why such difficulty in getting shield intercepts to work?

aside from maybe a couple stretches of a week at a time. these things have not worked consistently from the jump.

if i'm not getting them at all, (often), i'm getting them but they don't work.

how hard is it to get these things functioning properly? never had an issue with ad videos in any other mobile game i've played.

bout time to pull your socks up and get things sorted. the resources are too good to be missing out.

I don't know what you mean, I get them all the time. About 1 for every 2 or 3 matches.

What kind of device are you playing on, android/ios, build etc? Mostly wifi, or are you playing on a phone's network?

I get them no problem at home but sometimes have trouble getting them at work due to the unreliability of the WiFi in the part of the building I work in and the lack of network access prohibits me for the same reason.

Purchasing players get it often (~every 3 pve match), for a month after purchase no matter size of purchase.
Also, no ads.

Non purchasing players are probably limited to the ads offered to them based on various data (geolocation, age, interests). If they run out of offerable ads, you may get very low number of intercepts.

At the risk of sounding like tech support... Have you tried restarting your device and/or clearing the cached data? On the rare occasions when I don't get any for a while, that seems to do the trick. Now I make a point of at least restarting the app once per day.

I do occasionally have them not play at first, but often if I minimise the app and then maximise it again the ad will play with no further prompting.

You know what is the sad part? Players are asking the developers to improve the feature that shows adds (taking you away from the game for 15-120 seconds at a time) and the desired improvement is asking for more adds. It's sad. Let's pause for a second and let it sink in...

We are asking for more adds. This has to be a first game ever that is experiencing this movement.

It only says one thing - developers are too stingy with rewards and resources in this game. The intercepts give out 3-5k ISO a day (on a decent day maybe more) and maybe 20-100 hero points. And people are so starved around here that this looks almost like a Holy Grail. Sad.

I am calling upon our new best mate on the other side of the fence Brigby. Can you bring this subject with the developers? Can we get their opinion about people almost begging for more adds so they can get decent amount of ISO? Don't they think it's wrong?

I am fine with adds in a freemium game but in a normal experience people are happy when they go away.

Not an issue for me but after the great resource drought it must feel even rougher.

Steam players be like Ethiopian children. Should we have a puzzle quest aid for them?

I've never had a problem getting them regularly, but I've also never not been VIP since they released the feature. I'm not saying they are related, but it certainly possible. I'm also on iOS.

My issue with the SHIELD Intercepts lately is the amount I get per day but the contents I receive. I used to get a nice mixture of Iso, HP and Tokens but now 80% of the time it's a measly 10HP.. this reward is worse than 500 Iso to me. 10-10HP rewards is a 100HP, which happens to be one of the rewards but I have not seen 100HP in at least two-months.

I get the button to watch the Intercept, but then I push it and it doesn't work. I CS'd it to no avail. Now I'll just whine on the boards when I see the topic come up.

For a while they were working fine for me, then about 2 weeks ago I started having problems again. I've gone 2-3 days in a row without a single intercept, while playing plenty of PVE matches. I'm on iOS.

Restarting both the phone and app do help get it working again, but I shouldn't have to restart my phone daily.

If it's related to the changing odds per "play session", then maybe the devs should remove that logic and just make it a flat 25% chance or something.

I am on iOS. I used to get 10+ intercepts a day. I have received 2-3 in the past WEEK and it's been like that for the past month or so.

I restart my phone, force close the app. Play at different times during the day. I even deleted and reinstalled the app. Nothing. has. worked.

This is not from lack of playing. I tracked how many battled I played in Gauntlet. It was between 94-100. Do you know how many intercepts I received? 1. The last two days, I have received 0. We are supposed to be guaranteed at least 1 a day.

Something is bugged for certain users.

When I paid for VIP....it worked like a charm, got them all the time and never had an issue with them not giving the bonus reward. Since I stopped paying for the VIP it has gotten a lot more infrequent.....like I have not seen one in the last 24 hours!!! If I do see one....its about a 15-20% chance it will actually work. I created a ticket about 2-3 weeks ago when I noticed it....they asked some questions and then closed my ticket saying it was being looked into.

iphone 6s. latest os.

funny thing is, when i play at home on wifi and stop getting them, i turn off wifi, play a node on cellular and it seems to jump start them again. i have noticed that restarting the app/phone also helps at times, but why should i have to do this? during the great gauntlet boredom i was playing a lot of best fiends. they have 2 optional ads every 10 minutes. and they work 100% of the time. if it was a phone/os issue they'd be buggered on there too.

To be fair if you are VIP or have spent at all you don't have to watch any ads which means 0 time away from the game (assuming you aren't on steam or amazon of course).

I'd imagine that it is preferable to have people resource starved as opposed to the opposite. If everyone had enough to roster and champ every character the game would end pretty quick. Games like this are about the journey, not the destination which if done correctly never quite arrives.

I have not even seen an intercept in a month. No option to play a video or anything. I play on both an ipad and iphone, and on both 3G and home wifi.
