Peggy Carter: How to play vs. her and who to bring

You probably love using Peggy on your team, and hate going up against her. Is she overpowered?
So, what strategies do you use when facing her? What teams work the best for mostly 3* rosters, and 4* rosters?
Lets discuss why you use the teams you do. Simply naming characters may not be very helpful to others without giving some strategy.
Stun her ASAP:
Surprisingly some alliance mates didn't realize that her AP denial no longer works when she is stunned. Therefore, you can build AP to the counts you need to fire powers as usual, and have enough to stun her at the beginning of your next turn. Then, you can fire-at-will as abilities return to their normal costs when she's stunned.
Team-Ups:
Hey, she doesn't increase the costs to use Team-Up abilities. So, you can go for these first to use a nuke power that brings her health down to 40% quickly. Or, bring along a simple stun team-up so that you can then use powers at their normal costs.
Passive Damage:
In general, bringing along characters with good passive damage can be very helpful. This can be Iron Fist, Dr. Strange, Black Bolt, and others. Since Peggy's AP denial can be a real pain, having these passive hits take her down to under the 40%-30% as quickly as possible is important.
Teams:
So what specific anti-Peggy teams work well for you?
One decent 3* team is IM40, Spidey, and a green-black user like Torch. Since Peggy usually makes powers cost 3+ more, it's still easy to acquire 8 blue for Spidey's stun (5+3). Make sure you have 6 yellow for IM40's recharge ready when you stun her. It's only a 1 move stun, but once you get the recharge CD's to resolve, you will have lots of red, blue, and green ready. Stun again with a web-tile on the board and it becomes a 2-turn stun, then you can play Torch's green which now costs only 5 again to get started. Even if Peggy wakes up from the stun, Torch's flame jet still only consumes 1 green per turn. Keep acquiring more green, and fireball her when you can and she'll be out of your way quickly.
I also use IM40 with many other team combo's like Patch/Mystique, IF/BPanther, and more but I'll let the forum discuss.
What other 3* and 4* teams are good? Just using who ever is boosted in PvP is not an answer!

I used Carnage/Medusa/Mr. Fantastic in the recent Balance of Power and it mopped the floor with Peggy. Once a few powers get fired you're essentially immortal, and the tons of passive damage will whittle her down below her passive's threshold in no time. It works reasonably well in Shield Sim too, though your margin for error is much narrower since everyone doesn't have a bazillion health.
For season events where you can only choose two teammates, your best choices to go heads-up with Peggy are Red Hulk and, to a lesser extent, Hulkbuster. She only increases the base costs of abilities, so it's still 18 green for a full-strength smash from Red Hulk, and his purple is cheap so you can reasonably get one off while she's still active to get you there, particularly if you bring Scarlet Witch along too. Hulkbuster isn't as great since his black will cost a ton to fire, but your damage/AP is unaffected on his red since he just does X damage for every point of red you have.
Beyond that, anyone with a good damage-dealing passive or a stun. Medusa or Iron Fist can whittle her down slowly, or Moon Knight's passive can add damage for no AP spent. Alternatively you can bring Iceman or a Modern Black Widow teamup and stun her for a while, then try to fire off some damage while her passive is inactive and your power costs aren't borked.
Peggy is definitely annoying and a great scarecrow, but if you bring a team built to counter her and take her out first, she isn't THAT bad to deal with.0 -
Peggy is a monster when boosted I have her championed she has come in handy in PVP do to being boosted, yes I failed once in the falcon PVP she is a pain to go up against
She was amazing in gauntlet only took me 2 hours to complete
Now unboosted she is still good but not great doesn't scare me if I in counter her in PVP
I had no idea that if she is stunned her passive no longer worked thanks on that bit of information0 -
RHulk + Gamora are at the head of my list but I'm not sure on a 3rd. My RHulk is 1/2/5 so at 9/10, I can feed Gamora's green and possibly stun her and another foe for two turns. Also, if Peggy's is coming, hopefully you have 12 AP saved for Gamora and you can get her in front. Then, you'll have the entire field open to her for Bad Reputation matching for 3 turns.0

if I bring my own peggy, its just a matter of playing the ap more efficiently than the ai, which is most all the time barring the extremely rare cascade that I can't overcome.
the stun and TU go together for a strategy anyone can use. bring an mbw and you get 5 turns of free-play without her increasing your ap costs. gather ap and then stun her and you hopefully have planned ahead and can take her down.
characters like rulk and his 18 green threshold are not affected by her passive and can be effective.
characters with passives like bolt, 5panther, strange, 4blade, etc can be used effectively as they don't need ap to damage.
ap controllers like hood or starlord can help offset the cost increase.1 -
You might laugh but...
Passive strike/attack producer + falcap = whittling Peggy health down below 60% pretty quick and easily.
Personally speaking I just take my normal team and play like normal and still always win. She's not as scary as she seems. Her stun is more annoying than her yellow.0 -
In the past couple of weeks, I've Championed Medusa, Wasp, 4Blade and 4Cage, so I've been playing around a lot with my new toys in Sim, where I've faced a lot of Peggys. Medusa = Peggy killer. Bring someone like Blade, Bolt, OML, etc along to speed things up, but between the CD and the attack tiles, Medusa can whittle Peg down pretty quickly.1
