Nova Blast - no strike tiles

I have noticed today a possible bug using Nova.
His yellow skill says "Deals X damage to the target and creates 1 Black Strike tile of strength Y for each ally still in the fight."
When I've used it the damage was dealt but no strike tiles appeared.
My whole team was standing there so it should create 2 strikes.
Also there were a lot of black basic tiles available.

Anyone also had this problem?

    Weren't you fighting Thano5 with his purple out, by any chance?

    I was fighting Thanos, but if he had his purple out I would not be able to use this skill at all, right?
    It wouldn't do damage or consume AP's. And I would see a pop-up that I cannot use it.

    Nevertheless I cannot reproduce it anymore, so maybe it was my mistake in any way... So until I notice it again or somebody else will report it let's forget about it icon_e_wink.gif

    Nova Blast still does damage, so you can still fire it even if you are not able to place the Strike tiles for whatever reason (Thanos, no available Black basic tiles, etc...)

    Powers that do nothing but generate tiles, including Takeoff or Danger Zone (normal mode) shouldn't fire if Thanos' Purple is out, because that's the only thing they do.
