NERF Prized Amalgam

Ok, I've been holding this in for much too long a time already.

This card is broken. Too broken. The fact that it needs a few supporting cards (Oath of Liliana, Graf Harvest, Liliana v2's final emblem) to make it broken doesn't change the fact that it MUST be nerfed; unkillable blocker in this game is ridiculous (remember why you have to nerf/fix Undergrowth Champion?). Seriously, tell me 10 cards that can deal with it. Hixus? Engulf The Shore? Olivia? None of these cards are uncommon or common.

I propose two solutions; you can employ either or both:

1: Remove Defender from Prized Amalgam, or better yet, give it the drawback that it can't block (like Fretwork Colony, and accounting for True Faith's Censer). That way, so what if it can't die, period? It won't stop you from dealing damage.

2: Make it so that it returns to the battlefield only when you play a zombie card, NOT when you get zombie token. Did no one ever tell you about Graf Harvest?

    You can bounce prized amalgam or disable it using several of cheap cards. Or you can use trample, flying or menace to bypass it. Or you can kill the oath or graf harvest support that backs it up. There are lots of options. Its a tricky card but not one of the nastiest.

    Well, I also lost to decks that have prized amalgam in it, but like PastrySpider mentioned, there are a lot of ways to counter or get around it. This may be more or less true for the different colors but in general Prized Amalgam wouldn't be on my personal nerf list.

    Oh come on. Prized Amalgam isn't the problem. Like everyone else said, there are so many answers to it, that if it's that big of an issue for you, you just need to rebuild your decks to be able to deal with it. Fortunately there are plenty of ways around it.

    No, they only have two shields each. They frequently get busted by regular gem matching.

    it was a comparison question for the op to help point
    out that prized amalgam is merely a step up from
    a combo setup using more commonly rated cards.
    prized amalgam is more powerful because it's
    rated rare.
    (I think bounce doesn't work on soldier tokens or it
    gets destroyed and comes back via support)

    defender comes with pros and cons, it's because
    prized amalgam has defender that quite often
    claustrophobia works on it, that's if you can keep
    claustrophobia in play.

    Commons that can deal with the Prized Amalgam:
    Gone missing
    Claustrophobia
    Disperse

    Commons/Uncommons that deal with the support:
    Demolish
    Smash to Smithereens
    Root Out
    Reclaiming Vines
    Fragmentize

    Abilities that can bypass:
    Menace
    Unblockable
    Flying

    With the number of ways this combo can be undone, I don't think this pairing needs nerfing.

    I think the card is fine as is, though I'd change one thing: it shouldn't return itself if you have Graf Harvest or Lili 2.0's emblem out. It should wait till another zombie comes into play to return.

    It'll still be broken AF with Oath of Liliana, but a lot more manageable.
