I just beat this challenge as a level 49 Sarkhan

    Creatures
    Relentless Dead
    Diregraf Colossus
    Fleshbag Marauder

    Spells
    To the Slaughter
    Demolish
    Die Young
    Rush of Vitality
    Tormented Thoughts
    Harnessed Lightning

    Supports
    Decoction Module

Basically, in order to win, you need to get Decoction Module and Relentless Dead up early so you can kill it with Call Dragon (loyalty 2) and Fleshbag Marauder (to also kill enemies) and generate your 20 energy. Harnessed Lightning and Die Young are your bounce and energy wipe cards. Demolish to wipe the supports (especially Aether Heart). Rush of Vitality for health and To the Slaughter for extra bounce. I would cycle through converting Fleshbag Marauder and Relentless Dead into dragons because Fleshbag will come back with Relentless Dead providing a lot of energy generation and killing enemies quickly. Good luck!

I did something similar with L2. Don't have relentless dead but I used BTB to keep pace. Had no problems winning the match at all, as long as you time the use of Die Young so that the board doesn't get out of hand. The difficult part is energizing 20 gems. My first attempt I was a little too hasty and went to energize the board with the cheesy zombie loop and decoction module (ie. Prized amalgam, Diregraff, Zombie spawn, Floorboards, keep swapping PA with zombie to energize and buff the Colossus) only for the AI to follow the next turn with infinite swaps. The next time through, I made sure that I did the cheesy zombie loop to hit 20 energize immediately followed by a Die Young on the same turn (on my own Colossus).

There are some serious issues going on here:
    1. Ghonti's Aether Heart is a broken card. If it becomes the meta, that means every single deck must carry around a Die Young or Harnessed Lightning just in case they face an Aether Heart. Kinda sounds like what happened with the RC meta, and we all know that card got nerfed to the high-heavens. Looks like JC and his crew literally made the exact same mistake here (trying to shake up meta, and instead basically just created the meta). Gotta learn from our mistakes guys.
    2. Ghonti's Aether Heart is, well, a broken card. Not only does it give the player/AI an extra swap, but it can literally give more than one extra swap at once. I've seen the screen show "2 extra swaps" and I think I saw a Facebook post where the image showed "5 extra swaps". That is just plain stupid. Why they felt the need to keep a running "bank" of extra swaps is beyond me. It's already powerful enough to just give an extra swap (and can still give an infinite combo).
    3. All of these events are shoving energize down our throats, yet the best cards to take advantage of energize are gated behind an RNG paywall. Seems like a back-handed attempt at milking the player base out of money, instead of, you know, earning it the honest way.
    4. The best way to beat these new "challenges" that have been put forth is to either use equally broken cards or using cheesy loops to game the system. I didn't feel like my victory was an accomplishment at all, rather, I was just glad it was over and got my pack of dupes.

I think the challenge is fun. Yes, it may be too difficult for newcomers but I think newcomers shouldn't expect to finish all the challenges on their first try. It's called a challenge for a reason. As for the prizes, I have to agree that it should be better. In fact, I think for most of the events, the prizes can be better.

Won with confiscation coup on Jace 1. Zero mythic deck.

I really enjoy these style PvE events as it gives a great playground for creativity with unlimited retries.

First attempt, I beat her last form with Nissa 2 and ended with full life, only to find I had only energized 19 gems. icon_eek.gificon_cry.gif

Found the final to be pretty easily once I understood the deck. Beat it with Koth running unleash the gremlins (MVP), demolish, abbot, and avaricious dragon. Enough support and gem destruction to keep Saheeli from ever getting close. Harnessed Lightning was included for energy depletion.

Beat it with Dovin for the energize ribbon. I'm not certain, but I'm pretty sure something in the AI prioritized casting the whale. I had an aethersquall ancient out and continually bounced the whale, zari, and/or runner back to Saheeli's hand, then she would replay the whale giving me extra energy. I finished that game with a 110/110 ancient in play, 4 crackdowns in hand in case I ever had to deal with a support, and 2 imprison in the moons. She never bothered to play a support, kept throwing the whale down. Super easy win.
