Quick Question on Intercepts

If you are grinding on a PVE node that has already been cleared (meaning, you already got the prizes and there is a green check), is it possible to receive a SHIELD intercept?

I vaguely recall someone saying that you couldn't, but was hoping someone could confirm.

I'm trying to strategize on the best times to complete PVE/DDQ to maximize my intercepts possibilities each day. Thanks!

    No, intercepts are only possible when you receive a reward from a node.
