Which 4*s should be leveled up for Crash...

So I recently beat Chulk's crash at level 70 3/2/0. I've also beaten Miles's at level 70 2/0/0. (and Devil Dino level 105 3/4/3)

Today (and the next 4 days) is XFDP vs XFW. My DP is level 70 1/3/1. Do I have a chance or should I level him up and to what? (max 115)

Which leads to the bigger question: Which 4*s should be leveled up for Crash? Obviously Miles and ProfX are good at level 70. And with the right boosts Chulk is good, ha. But who should I level up and what should the cap be?

Currently I'm at 1,597,512 ISO, so I have some wiggle room, but I don't want to level everyone up and then not have enough to champ someone when I get covers eventually. My roster is in my sig, but my highest 4* (not counting Dino) is 7 covers, Thanos is my only non-championed 3*, and I have a fully functioning 2* farm.

Thoughts?

I like lv120 (16000 iso). But keep in mind that being able to win their CotT is more depending on if you have the 'right' cover more than level. Leveling them up provides you with more lifepoint to stay alive longer. Most of them can finish their CotT at lv120 if you have the right cover. Although, a few need much higher than that even with 13 covers (e.g. JG, Mr.F, Flaptain) Plus at this level, when they are unfortunately boosted in PvE, they will be aligned with your 3* and won't punish you with extra scaling.

Is there a list somewhere that is like a checklist "If you have 1 red cover of blank, don't level up, but if you have 2, level them up!"

Most of them are possible with very low levels, but it still takes multiple attempts. With that much ISO and the relatively cheap cost to level a 4* with 7 covers, I would just go ahead and max him.

You should have XFDP leveled up anyway. He's a good character.

It seems like you haven't had much desire to level up your 4*s. Last January, I champed my first 4* (Thoress). My strategy since then is that I add ISO to my 4* roster once every 5 days (decided by who is in that run's COT). Since then, I now have 19 champed 4*s and am able to win pretty much every Crash (I think I missed out on 3 or 4 last year). So, on day one of the 5 day cycle, I level up the 4* character that is in the current Crash. Days 1-4 I always use that 4* in the Big Enchilada, so I can get a feel for how they play (especially if I hadn't used them much before that). Then, on the day of the Crash, I see what I can do. It's a strategy that's worked well for me and makes sure I get a good feel of roster diversity to keep things fresh.

I don't think there is the list that I am aware of. However, there is a thread about general strategy of each CotT somewhere (of course, I can't find it anymore when I want it). Although, it's slightly out of date, but most of the info there is spot on. I think that same thread also keeps a record of low-level build that can finish the CotT as well.

The Complete DDQ4 (Crash) Guide - Tips for all Matchups thread is in this same forum stickied to the top. When the event is active, there is usually thread forum in the Events forum that talks about peoples current success, like this Crash of the Titans Cycle 4: Deadpool thread. When characters are re-spec'ed between events, this may provide a few tips that are more current than the main thread. Between the two you should get a pretty good idea.

From reading, certainly sounds like red is the most important cover here. I tried it a couple times with my lvl 147 2/2/3 Deadpool and didn't really come close. Someone else in the event threat mentioned they won with a 3/2/0 lvl 127 XFDP, so your mileage may vary. With only 1 red cover, even if you put him at the max level available to you, I think you'd have a hard time. As others have said though, he's a solid 4*, so it wouldn't really hurt to level him up. Also wouldn't argue with saving the ISO-8 to level someone else on the next Crash.

Back to the original question, the tips guide linked above is the closest thing to kinda tell you minimum levels to win the Crash.

Leveling up everyone to at least 120 if they can costs the same amount of iso even if you champed them 40 weeks from that day. The costs are permanent.
Just do it as clashes come up.

You are at an iso surplus, so as long as you earn over 16K a week you'll be fine.

    And XFDP?

His black in a clash does nothing
It's all about his purple and red

Due to how powers scale, for MOST character in game 3 covers in the damage dealing power is what you want, there are exceptions however (like TAH yesterday, i did at 2/2/2)
