Making Generals

I created an alliance with the idea that if I made people commanders, they would pitch in for new slots in the alliance. Well, it didn't work out that way and I ended up purchasing most of the spots myself. Most of my alliance members are great and really do their part, but there are a few that really aren't doing anything. With those players being commanders, they know I can't kick them. Its not fair to the members that are really playing hard. It would be nice if the founder of an alliance could be made a General. The General would have control over all other members of the team.

However I recommend Director as the title. Like 'Director of S.H.I.E.L.D.'

I like the idea also, almost all of my alliance is great, but 1-2 slackers really bring you down with the current level of competition

Sorry for digging this from the grave. Had a disgruntled commander in my alliance randomly made people commanders without permission then left.

It sure would be nice to uncommander them.

I think this is a grand idea. But I don't know how easy it could be implemented in a technical sense. But it would seem right that whoever founded an alliance should also be able to kick out any member he sees fit, Commander or not. I'm a Commander myself and I wouldn't mind if our Alliance founder kicked me out if he was not too happy about my contribution. Right now Commanders have this ridicilous "diplomatic immunity" that gives them moderating powers but also allows them to drag the whole alliance by not doing their part if they choose so. No chance to penalize them.

I apologize if there are tons of these topics, but I definately agree. I mean, at least an indicator to who the owner is.... they paid the hp to create it, anybody could be the owner to people interested...
