so, I may be wrong...

but I always thought 4* Jean Grey's passive superceded Prof X's passive? So if someone made a match 5, instead of that team's prof X getting to fire his passive, Jean jumped in and just stunned everyone? Hence, why she was such an effective way of breaking up the Charlie's Angels team?

I only ask because I am new to her character, but that was always something I thought happened. Did something get changed randomly/by accident, or has it always been this way and I'm just crazy?

Always been that way. You still eat the Forehead, you just destroy the AP it generates and dish out an AOE/stun in retaliation.
