Vault Reset

I find myself with reason to reset a vault today. It is the Taco Vault where the right Chulk cover would allow me to champion him. Unfortunately it is not the right cover. And I considered the possibility of resetting the vault to be very reasonable until I realized that it was 1000 HP. That's too expensive. 400 like every other vault is far more reasonable. But 1000 HP? Come on, really?
Do you agree? Have you ever reset a vault and how has that benefited you?

I reset one once during Christmas cause I bought a Stark during the sale and was whaling one of the good vaults at the time. The first 40-pack was particularly lucky so I reset before going at it again. It was kinda necessary, given my strategy: it wasn't like I could productively spend that much HP elsewhere without resetting, but it probably (definitely) wasn't worth a hundred bucks in the first place.
I would never consider resetting a Taco Vault. Those are not good value to buy out, and trying to buy your way into a good vault which you can then cross your fingers to get the good rewards out of sounds about as rewarding as shoveling money out your window.0 -
I've reset small vaults a few times, but taco vaults would be a bad deal at 100hp.0

Taco vaults suck in general. They should be 80 piece vaults like all the others. Heck, I'd consider buying a 40-pack every so often if they were, but as it stands I'd never attempt it with there being 300 possible pulls.0

You have to consider the taco vaults in their proper context. There's always a pvp running alongside DDQ so there is always the opportunity to buy the discount 40 pack. What they do need to do is revamp the prizes so they are more unique and useful.
It seems pretty clear to me that the devs look at the small vaults as the main path to various covers. In contrast, the taco vaults have always had absurd numbers of iso and hp drops. I would term these items to be everyday consumables. Why not just remove more of the 2* covers and add it things like +10 all color boosts, or a 5* TU?
Your taco vaults would then consist of: 3* and higher covers, plus majority of things like hp, iso, boosts, tus. or things along those lines.
It would have the main benefit of clearly defining that 2* covers come from actual matches and small vaults. Where as every consumables come from a large vault.0 -
I spent 1200HP on Strange Sights until I got some 4*s I actually wanted because of the amount of tokens the event gives out.
Obviously it was a complete waste as I didn't draw any of them, but I know without a shadow of a doubt that if I hadn't, I would've drawn them all.
