    Early Game:

    G2: You've Got A Friend In Me
Gideon, Ally of Zendikar, Level 25

    Creatures (3):
    Serene Steward
    Kor Entanglers
    Cliffside Lookout

    Spells (4):
    Allied Reinforcements
    Encircling Fissure
    Ondu Rising
    Smite the Monstrous

    Supports (3):
    Pathway Arrows
    Blighted Steppe
    Fertile Thicket

    Details:
This deck is designed to be played below level 40.

Taking advantage of the Ally / Rally and Awaken abilities this deck will offer tons of control, lifegain and special features as your creatures work together to help you win.

Use his second ability liberally once you get an ally in play to take advantage of their rally abilities.

Also the low cost of the cards in this deck make it equally easy to play at level one or level 40.

    Mid Game:

    G2: Follow the Warleader
Gideon, Ally of Zendikar, Level 45

    Creatures (1):
    Veteran Warleader

    Spells (5):
    Allied Reinforcements
    Unified Front
    Smite the Monstrous
    Encircling Fissure
    Ondu Rising

    Supports (4):
    Oath of Gideon
    Retreat to Emeria
    Prairie Stream
    Shrine of the Forsaken Gods

    Details:
This deck is designed to utilize tokens to buff Veteran Warleader. It is great for any level above 35.

To get the most from Follow the Warleader, use G2's second ability liberally.

    End Game:

    G2: Battle Buddies
Gideon, Ally of Zendikar, Level 60

    Creatures (3):
    General Tazri
    Hero of Goma Fada
    Veteran Warleader

    Spells (3):
    Encircling Fissure
    Smite the Monstrous
    Ondu Rising

    Supports (4):
    Shrine of the Forsaken Gods
    Prairie Stream
    Mirrorpool
    Canopy Vista

    Details:
Battle Buddies is designed to draw on G2's third ability to strengthen Ally / Rally relationships.

Tons of manna gain combined with gem changers should make it easy to get these creatures out quickly and to build loyalty to use the third ability several times in a match.

Control comes in the form of Encircling Fissure and Smite the Monstrous. Mirrorpool should be played strategically to either boost General Tazari or Hero of Goma Fada or to recycle spells quickly.

Gideon, Ally of Zendikar End Game (Level 60) Deck by g0dai

    Allied Refinforcements
    Veteran Warleader
    Kor Entanglers
    Hero of Goma Fada
    Lantern Scout
    Resolute Blademaster
    Oath of Gideon
    Scour from Existence
    Gideon’s Reproach
    Mirrorpool

Much like the other decks in this thread, this one focuses heavily on Allies and the Rally effect. Using Gideon's second ability, Recruit, as well as Allied Reinforcements, to bring 2/2 White Knight Ally tokens into play combos very well with many of these creatures. The obvious benefactor is Veteran Warleader, which can often end up over 50/50 by the end of the match. But each of the other creatures brings a powerful Rally effect to the table as well: Kor Entanglers and Hero of Goma Fada help to control the opponent's creatures, while Lantern Scout can almost ensure that matches end with Gideon at full health. Resolute Blademaster providing the double-strike ability to Allies can often be a game-ending move.

Oath of Gideon spams the board early with cheap Kor Allies, which often are replaced by the more robust White Knight Allies by the fourth or fifth turn, but they provide an early Ally presence and will often provide a solid stopgap if a bad card draw doesn't provide other affordable options early in the game. Scour from Existence might cost a few more mana than other colorless creature removal or Disable spells, but it has a much more universal application, since it has no target restrictions. With Gideon's mana curve being spread over three colors, the difference is often negligible in a match due to the speed of the rest of the deck. Gideon's Reproach provides another removal option, only targeting the first attacking or defending creature but its low mana cost offsets this restriction. The deck doesn't necessarily need a speed boost, but adding Mirrorpool reinforces creatures and provides additional speed to the spells in the deck.

Gideon, Ally of Zendikar (Level 60)

    Creatures
    Veteran Warleader
    Lantern Scout

    Spells
    Allied Reinforcements
    Angelic Gift
    Roil Spout
    Ondu Rising
    Encircling Fissure

    Supports
    Oath of Gideon
    Shrine of the Forsaken Gods
    Prairie Stream

The idea with this deck is to swarm the board with allies or plains, whilst still maintaining some control of the board through roil sprout and/or encircling fissure. Angelic Gift will make your veteran warleader a flier (as well as draw a card) and a pretty formidable blocker and damage dealer once she gets going! Lantern Scout and Ondu Rising will give lifelink often, ensuring you stay within the game. Plains will usually be replaceable by more allies, to pump warleader and give her first strike and vigilance. Alternatively, they can be used as a beatdown themselves, if you never draw warleader. Oath gives more allies and shrine and prairie will help to fill the cost of warleader and awaken costs.

    Gideon, Ally of Zendikar

    Level 1
    Kor Entanglers
    Serene Steward
    Kor Castigator
    Retreat to Emeria
    Strider's Harness
    Allied Reinforcements
    Smite the Monstrous
    Roil's Retribution
    Encircling Fissure
    Ondu Rising

    Deck playstyle
At level 1 you have no abilities and a restrictive deck composition. Ally Gideon starts off with 3/5/2 creatures/spells/supports. The good news is White has no shortage of good creatures and spells in this bloc.

Serene Steward, Kor Entanglers and Kor Castigator form your Ally party. They come supported by 2/2 White Ally Knights from Allied Reinforcements to increase the creature count in the deck. The spells lend some degree of control, with Smite the Monstrous primarily for handling big threats and Roil's Retribution taking care of the rest. Ondu Rising grants your creatures Life Link for a turn and its Awaken ability gives you access to yet another creature when necessary.

    Notable cards/combos
Serene Steward + Ondu Rising: Ondu Rising's Life Link triggers Serene Steward's ability, helping you to boost your first creature.
Roil's Retribution + Kor Entanglers / Encircling Fissure: With two disabling cards and one of them being a disable through Rally, Roil's Retribution should be easy to trigger when required.

    Level 40
    Veteran Warleader
    Lantern Scout
    Serene Steward
    Oath of Gideon
    Shrine of the Forsaken Gods
    Prairie Stream
    Canopy Vista
    Smite the Monstrous
    Roil Spout
    Ondu Rising

    Deck playstyle
At level 40 you gain access to your planeswalker abilities and increased mana gains. Ally Gideon's abilities help build on the Ally theme. The most important ability for this deck is Gideon's second ability which summons 2 2/2 White Ally Knights, helping you to build up your board while triggering Rally abilities.

Shrine of the Forsaken Gods is important to setup more quickly while the gem converters are important more for gaining loyalty quickly to use Ally Gideon's abilities. Smite the Monstrous and Roil Spout serve as creature control options whereas Ondu Rising is useful for the life gain.

    Notable cards/combos
Veteran Warleader + Oath of Gideon / Ally Gideon's second ability: Veteran Warleader's purpose in this deck is to grow into a humongous monstrosity to quickly KO your opponent. Oath of Gideon will give Veteran Warleader +8/+8 whereas Ally Gideon's second ability will give +4/+4. Stack them on top of each other and the match will end fairly quickly. Veteran Warleader gains First Strike, Vigilance and Trample when you have 3 Allies on the board and hence also double up as a fearsome defender.
Lantern Scout / Ondu Rising + Serene Steward: Triggering Serene Steward's ability is a great way to build up your creatures. And with two cards granting Life Link to all your creatures for a turn, this can happen fairly often in this deck. Just take note to work around the mana drain aspect of Serene Steward's ability, though Shrine of the Forsaken Gods will mitigate that for you also.

    Level 60 - Tazri's Warleader
    General Tazri
    Veteran Warleader
    Oath of Gideon
    Shrine of the Forsaken Gods
    Prairie Stream
    Canopy Vista
    Lumbering Falls
    Allied Reinforcements
    Smite the Monstrous
    Ondu Rising

    Deck playstyle
At level 60, you gain access to your planeswalker's full potential. This deck is all about Veteran Warleader. Ally Gideon's second ability becomes the most important ability thanks to Veteran Warleader making it 9 loyalty for +16/+16 to your board. General Tazri effectively acts as a second copy of Veteran Warleader in this deck (as these two are the only Ally creatures in the deck) which is more expensive but has a second body and a nice Activate ability. This allows you to start growing your Veteran Warleader earlier to become a great big blocker.

Despite Ally Gideon's relatively flat mana profile at +2/+2/+0/+0/+2, gem converters are still important to gain loyalty quickly to use the second ability. Shrine of the Forsaken Gods takes the main role for increasing mana gain. Smite the Monstrous works as creature control whereas Ondu Rising is useful for the life gain.

While a spare copy of Veteran Warleader can be kept in hand in case the one on the board gets removed, typically one should not reinforce their Veteran Warleader through summoning a second one as the mana cost is not worth it. It is far better to grow your Veteran Warleader through summoning your other Allies.

    Notable cards/combos
Veteran Warleader + Oath of Gideon / Ally Gideon's second ability: Veteran Warleader's purpose in this deck is to grow into a humongous monstrosity to quickly KO your opponent. Oath of Gideon and Ally Gideon's second ability will give Veteran Warleader +8/+8 each. Stack them on top of each other and the match will end fairly quickly. Veteran Warleader gains First Strike, Vigilance and Trample when you have 3 Allies on the board and hence also double up as a fearsome defender.

Detail - The deck build around these theory
1.AI will use 1st ability the most and sometime 2nd. Gideon put token into play and it die, which can be trigger some cards.
2.The deck for each Planeswalker must also contain only cards of the expansion it came in. It suppose to face the deck in the same condition.
3.AI can't oder combo. So we avoid complicated play. (And AI also have big problem with Mirrorpool)
4.AI can't use awaken cost wisely.
