So why are all events enraged now?

Enraged was a fine mechanic back when it was introduced for Terrors in the Shadows. It made thematic sense within the block and it made that particular event unique. So why now is it being sneakily shoehorned into every single other event? Playing 5 vehicles by itself is already ridiculous given that they're all awful but now with enraged also in effect the games are going to be much faster as a result and with all the high powered mythics running around, surviving long enough to be able to hardcast 5 vehicles from your hand and still find a way to win is liekly not going to happen in most games.

Enraged is fine but can we please not have it shoved down our throats in every event? And if you're going to insist on shoving vehicles down our throat, can you at least make them playable?

It can speed things up, so, why not? I don't mind.

I actually like the enraged and super charged events. Makes it a lot more interesting. What I don't like are the vehicle and energized objectives. But then again I just don't care for the entire KLD set.

I'd rather see them shoehorn in the double mana instead of even more enraged events. Far more fun.

I really like both the enraged and double mana events, but trying to even cast any 5 creatures in an enraged match is nearly impossible, makes no sense for those objectives

Exosect, just to try to understand better, what tier are you in and what level was your planeswalker?

I am in Platinum tier and I hit all the secondaries except missing on a 5 Vehicle summon once and losing a match. But I suspect it's the lower tiers that have a much bigger problem with the objectives.

It would be good if subsequent people posting about having issues with these objectives stated their mastery tier and planeswalker (plus planeswalker level) so we know whether the issue is coming more from the lower tiers or everyone is having equal difficulty (I suspect the former).

platnium teir and never even got close to cast 5 vehicles in any of the event. my cheapest one is 7 and never got close to 5. i think if it hadnt been enraged it may have been at least possible but with it doing double damage after 5 eve 2/2, 4/4,6/6 so on you would have to have all five right there as you draw. perhaps i am missing some good ones but just didnt see any i could do honestly.
please let me know how you can without just holding them back and letting everything go at once hoping they dont kill you first.

    You're using the wrong vehicles.

Ok all jokes aside, for many of my nodes, I used the bigger vehicles. Holding back is a nice position to be in, but in platinum you're pretty much forced to trade wherever you can so your resources don't get tied up while his is put to work whittling you down. To that end, haunted cloak maybe, or the true faith censor will help stall while casting vehicles.

Getting card draw will make your life much easier. Kiora for example only needs to draw into 3 vehicles or so, because her skill 2 on average can get you 2 vehicles over the course of the game. Haunted visions will help greatly, or even the journal.

If you play in a control colour, be sure to add in lots of crowd control. Displacement wave can be mvp here. It's not just for the opponent. Sometimes you'll need to remove one of your vehicles to buy you some time. I only had to do that for red node though.

If the problem you have is killing too quickly, the best way to solve it is to test/practice your load balancing. This comes in handy in a events such as the one where you want board control, not dps. Load up your deck on Nissa and chandra's heroic challenge and see how long you can make the game last by trading creatures not efficiently, but as close to parity as possible.

Out of 16 vehicles, I only like Aethersphere harvester and maybe Heart of Kiran. The rest are situational and most of them won't even make it into my deck.

Aethersphere Harvester - Easiest pick of them all. Crew 3. Good cost to power ratio and has flying and lifelink via overload 1.
Aradara Express - Not on my list. Menace isn't bad but too little power potential in a deck.
Ballista Charger - Not fantastic. Mediocre.
Bomat Bazaar Barge - Would use it if I need to fulfill vehicle and card draw requirements.
Consulate Dreadnought - I would use this for a beatdown if I don't have better vehicles.
Cultivator's Caravan - Due to its relatively high cost, I won't use it if I want a quick game.
Demolition Stomper - Looks fine and it's almost unblockable.
Fleetwheel Cruiser - Nothing special. A bit costly for the haste.
Heart of Kiran - Fabricate 4 and Crew 4, has flying and vigilance. Good for defense and offense. A card that has potential to change the tide of the game.
Ovalchase Dragster - For the haste, not worth it in my opinion.
Peacewalker Colossus - Not a bad card if when I use energize a lot. Not many vehicles can block flying for now so it has some worth.
Renegade Freighter - not a card I would ever use
Sky Skiff - not a card you need in my deck
Skysovereign, Consul Flagship - good card for clearing out tiny creatures but usually doesn't quite finish the job by the time you get to cast this.
Smuggler's Copter - have some synergies with madness and abilities that requires discard
Untethered Express - too expensive and too slow to be of any use in competitive events
