Why is animists awakening 10 mana?

Edit: all numbers on it are 10. Why is that?

Because it used to cast 10 mana and convert 10 gems , originally. It was nerfed before OGW.

They should use the current picture of it though.

Also as someone pointed out elsewhere, the spell limit on Nissa, Vital Force is 4 but the spells used for the "deck effectiveness" deck are 5.

I have all the cards for the winning Creativity deck. I built the deck to give it a shot this morning. Unfortunately, it did not hold its own while testing in QB icon_neutral.gif

maybe try replacing larger than life with titanic growth.
might also do better with some card draw.

Dang. Wish I had submitted. My Nissa 2 deck is brutal and can sometimes win in 3 turns.

You're absolutely right. We apologize for the oversight, and we will be re-evaluating the outcome.

Actually I've been making a lot of substitutions, trying different things, while at the same time trying to master some big cards like Season's Past and some of the new green mythics.

I find N2 to be very weak in survivability. Sure, she can ramp and drop creatures down, energize, etc. But it seems she relies on her ultimate to win the match. What I find is that she gets demolished quite easily by decks that can just remove her creatures efficiently (which is quite the norm).

Not only are her creatures and supports quite easily removed, but she in turn has no answer if the AI drops a couple of big threats early on. Scour is quite expensive and as such not that efficient. Plummet ends up being a dead card more often than not (and takes a valuable spell slot). Nissa's Renewal helps. Then again, I found that by running Nissa's Renewal and/or Season's Past she's susceptible to discard from Liliana, Transgress, and Distended Mindbender. Couple that with the fact that she has lousy card draw, and she's a sitting duck. Yes I tried Tamiyo's Journal, but while it helped somewhat, it wasn't enough.

All-in-all, without Ghonti's Aether heart to give you free swaps, I don't feel like she can consistently get to her ultimate before having her creatures wiped out and her cards thrown out.

I'm having a tough time just in QB, losing matches here and there, and having to quaff potions just to master cards. Sure, I'm not optimizing the deck to its full potential, since I have an ulterior motive, but I don't have the same problem with other PW's. I was able to master white the other day by swapping between Nahiri and Dovin with no problems.

You didn't play the decks even one time, to see what they were like? Figures.

Also note that the mana cost on 'From Beyond' appears to be 19 instead of 9. That was its original cost on release, thank god they changed it.

I wonder why they have to use outdated images of cards from older sets. Seasons Past appears to be depicted right with 20 mana cost even though it was also reworked from its original version.

Was the rule "The deck for each Planeswalker must also contain only cards of the expansion it came in" scrapped?

That is for the other deckbuilding contest. This is an older one.
