Upgrade Election

Just idea for D3

I would like them to figure out 5 upgrades to the game that they're going to make no matter what. Put all of them up for vote in the game. All of these upgrades are going to happen but the players will decide what happens first. Either the one vote would decide the order or once the winning upgrade is implemented there's a new vote with the remaining choices.

I think this would get the players interested in the development side of things and we would know that D3 is listening to us!

I don't think that is going to matter, it will come down to what passes QA first. They have talked about a number of things that they are working on and I gather they each have there own issues to implement. I'm guessing here but I'll imagine that they are all at some stage of progression and once they are ready they get implemented into the game, now if they have given us a list and we say we want A first and they finish B or C before A they are not going shelve them until they have finished working on A and why would they? if they a feature that has passed their QA it's going to be released, there is no way to know how long those other features may take to be ready for release

It really depends where they are in the development cycle for each of the features, and how much they want to prioritize our vote vs. what makes sense internally.

I think it'll be a valuable thing for them to do as market research anyway (there's that survey that was linked from in-game today, but didn't really allude to new features).
