Player/Alliance Rank Not Highlighted Consistently

When looking at the Player Rank screen for a PVE or PVP event, sometimes my player name is not highlighted in Yellow text. It just doesn't stand out. I say it's not consistent because if you click on the Alliance Rank tab, cycle between your alliance rank and alliance top ranks, then go back to player rank and look at where you stand, your name is then highlighted. Not a big deal, but it makes it easier to see.

I'm using an iPhone 5 with iOS 7.1.

My steps to replicate error and then see name highlighted:
1. Click PVE/PVP event.
2. Click Event Rewards on top left.
3. Click Player Rank from bottom menu.
4. Click Your Rank tab from top if not already selected. Name is not highlighted.
*I assume the bottom steps will work only if you're in an alliance*
5. Click Alliance Rank from bottom menu.
6. Click Your Rank if it is not already selected. Alliance name is not highlighted.
7. Click Top Ranked tab from the top.
8. Click back to Your Rank. Now your alliance should be highlighted.
9. Click back to Player Rank from the bottom menu. Now your player name should be highlighted.

This irks me, too. I often think I must be on the Top Rank tab because I don't see my name immediately and then just get confused.
