It would be cool if you could trade/sell for iso(hero points) your covers to members of your alliance.

I say members of the alliance as it then offers benefit of joining/starting one.

    The risk of abuse is tremendous, I imagine cheaters forming alliances with multiple fake accounts just to trade their assets to the one, real account, getting immense progress from that. And that's only the first thought. I highly doubt a cover trading feature will ever get introduced.

    Now if there was a HP/Iso exchange where people could buy HP with iso and Iso with HP with a dynamic exchange rate based on in game market values would be kinda cool.

    But also vulnerable to exploits by cheaters...sad face

    I'm guessing that the main reason any type of marketplace or trading is not in the system is due the exploitability by cheaters.

    The HP/ISO swap idea within a single account makes a little bit of sense, but in regards to D3 they probably don't want to lose their main cash-cow in terms of real money purchases of HP.

    If some type of system was put in place the scaling would make it not really worthwhile. Probably something like 100,000 ISO for 500HP.
