Who takes the color if they are the same number?

Hey guys.

How does the colored tiles get decided on if two characters have the same number on it?
ex: I'm looking at the red tile for Patch (45) and Classic Magneto (44).
If I make Classic Magneto to 45, who will take the red tile?

There's a hidden decimal in there--the displayed numbers are rounded to the nearest whole number--so in general, it could be either. Both Patch and C.Mags are 3* characters with red as their second-best color, so they use exactly the same progression, meaning that one with the higher level will have priority, even if the displayed number is the same.

If they are the same level, though, it's a straight-up tie, and position determines priority: center > left > right on the character selection screen before a given fight.

Edit: Assuming the numbers on the wiki are correct, the tile-strength increases by level are very close to linear (with rounding)...but not. I don't know why the numbers get a bit erratic here and there, but I wish they wouldn't.

    Thank you very much.
  • The position in the lineup takes priority in a tie. Center, Left, Right.
