When does healing start after a mission?

Take the following scenario. You start up a mission, play and complete it. But at some point during the match, your internet connection drops out. As soon as the match completes, you're immediately hit with the "Comm Link Disrupted", before you get any points or prizes or even story sequences.

My question is: at the point at which "Comm Link Disrupted" appears, have the characters that you've just used in the match started to heal?
