New content but more of the same...

Despite a 20 minute window where it looked like we were going to be battling Tezzeret this past weekend, we went back to the same repeatable, easy, boring content yet again. A 3 day Fateful Showdown where I have used the same decks for two months, a **** with the same colors and same objectives, a EMC with the same colors and same objectives, and I will assume some boring PvE battle tomorrow before we rinse and repeat.

Why do you think it is fun to play the same exact content over and over and over since December 8th? We wouldn't play the same level of any other video game for that long without quitting. And not only is it boring, but it has gotten to the point where you have to wake up at 4:00 AM to race cheaters for a top 5 (wait, top 25 SPOT) with a perfect score. Can't even get a fat pack for perfecting this easy, boring, redundant game. (I bet the content would have changed if you guys fixed the idiotic tie breaker system and were handing out 50-100 mythics every event for perfect scores).

So why am I complaining now? Looks like we have a whole new set of challenges coming soon... more content is on the way!?

Because I READ YOUR RELEASE NOTES! The nodes are static in the PvP events, which means we will be playing the same two levels over and over and over and over and over and over for the next three months until the next set release! WHY DOES THAT SEEM LIKE FUN? What happened to rotating the colors like in **** of old? Or requiring us to cast dwarfs or humans or homunculi or whatever. Nothing but vehicles for the next three months. And btw, figure out some new objectives besides losing less creatures, winning in 5 turns, or taking less damage. Honestly, the levels aren't even really different. Its the same levels with slight tweaks to the objectives.

Do you guys want help figuring out fun and interesting challenges? WE WILL HELP!

Yup. Not looking forward to having shoehorn terrible vehicles into my deck until May (or whenever).

And more events are great, I liked that they were 24 hour little bursts now. But now its predictable and super boring!

I have become so bored with this. Put almost no effort in the last couple events. Just not interested anymore.

I agree, I only play individual events to progression and FS has become so easy that I can do it in my sleep.

And is that fun and rewarding for you? Makes me want to find a better game.

if nothing else it gives new players a chance to build up their bankrolls and stones and the hope of getting new good cards(yeah like winning the powerball). does get boring but is what it is
  • I would be surprised if more than 100 - 200 people actually go into an event hoping to compete for a top spot. (Platinum) The other 1,000 or so just play till they get the progression reward, see if they popped a mythic, cash in 600 manacrystal.png if they have that many, and then maybe mess around in QB a little until tomorrow. Like people were saying in the other thread, if the top progression reward was the same amount of ribbons as a perfect score and something good like more packs or crystals, events would be so much more engaging for every player involved.

I'm not sure if this would help your situation though, BarBar. I think D3 has just been lazy about creative new content.

Please share your secret of sleep-playing, so I can stop waking up at 1am.

I don't even bother with the last pack most of the time. I lost interest in KLD very quickly.
