SHIELD intercept ads not muted

I'm frequently playing with the sound muted on my device (iPad mini). However, if you play SHIELD intercept ads, they happily ignore the mute setting of the device. Very annoying. Anyone else seeing this?

    This is not unheard of for video applications in general -- they can ignore the mute setting when it looks like you have deliberately played a video.

    In my opinion, $10 a month for VIP is worth it just to skip ads, for all the benefits Intercepts bring in. Add in the VIP rewards and it's the best purchase in the game pretty much ever.
