This means everyone needs to be more vigilant and send tickets in with proof.

A few people put A LOT of work into gathering evidence while the rest just whined.

DO YOUR PART -- because I think we already know they ugly graphics and new sets are more important to Hibernum than actually developing code to stop the cheaters.

Sounds great. I heard a lot about that cheaters, but how do I detect them?

Credit where credit is due: I'm disgusted that action had taken this long, and appalled by the methods used to apply it, which in the past I have been censored for talking about.

I also give them my credit too, hopefully what was contributed helped, but they aren't all gone. We shouldn't have to be vigilant, how hard is it for the leaderboards to be automatically scanned or win submissions timestamped server side and the process automated for flagging.

However while this is the only way to give us a fair chance in the events we must do what we can, even if this scenario just shouts if you are going to cheat, atleast be smart.

I hope this isn't how they plan on maintaining the situation.

Really happy this happened. Not particularly happy about the way it finally happened tho. Massive thanks to Alve for collating and passing on information!

    BOOM!

Edit: So this doesn't get modded for one-word replies. 500 pts/hour is just ridiculously brazen. Hopefully Hibernum can just automatically detect it now and flag the accounts.

I would also like to know how to detect them / how they were detected by other players? I'm glad cheaters got what they deserved.

I am a bit dismayed to see a known cheater at the top of the Platinum leaderboards for Terror. Did no one bother to get screenshots on him?

You'd almost think it wasn't our job to do that.

A positive step, but also a little scary in a way.

If they are relying on community reports to erase people's accounts I really hope they are triple checking everything. And not just a "This guy scores well in events more than I do; erase their account".

Given what I've seen of both bugs and community, I'm not sure I trust either to wield that kind of power, honestly. icon_lol.gificon_e_confused.gif

The AI is one of the worst offenders at times.

Just my two cents. I won my first platinum QB over the weekend. It took me approximately 18 hours of play and over 2000 points. When trying for this achievement (just to say I did it) I screenshot the leader board every few hours. If you are attempting to finish doing the same I would advise you do the same.

    Happy gaming everyone
