Can I get the proper definition of "Summon"?

Is that ONLY when you pay mana for the card, I'm guessing?
I had plenty of zombies pop-up when I played Liliana but it only counted ONE summoned unit, which was my Olivia. The rest were Liliana's Oath, her 3rd ability and zombies coming back as a result of being destroyed in my hand.

Sort of disappointed since I utilize a lot of that in my decks and I don't have the mana generation of fourth challenge Nissa.

I encountered the same problem.

I did a bit of digging on the forums and apparently it's a recent change, and intended. Regardless of card text, the only creatures that now count for summoning objectives apparently are from creature cards cast directly out of your hand. No resurrection or spawned tokens are counted.
