Team Abilities

I was brainstorming and thought it would be cool if there were bonuses for using certain teams. All Villains, all X-men, all avengers, all female, all male, all squishies, all tanks, have fun with the combos, go crazy.

There would be infinite ways of implementing this but after some thought what I would love to see is this:

Using a team with a group bonus adds a third environment skill to any map you are on.

All Villains in the forest?
-Thorned Rose
-Forest Fire
-Master Plan -150 environment AP - consume all stored AP of every color doing 40 damage for each to a single enemy.

All girls?
-Can't resist - 200 environment AP - Steal two AP of every color and stun enemy team for one turn

I think the idea has promise and at the very least seems fun to think up combos and ideas for. Thoughts?

    I like the idea. Makes sense to use environmental tiles too.

    Fresh and interesting, and a nice way to make players use some different team compositions. Thumps up.

    And since the trophies are introduced, you could win trophies or "sub-trophies" for playing ten times with a certain combo for example..
  • I like the idea of team abilities, but I don't think anyone would purposely build a certain team for a power that costs 150 AP (I know it was just an idea.) What I would rather like to see would be a small passive for all team members throughout the match, such as extra tile damage, 5% more health, or something along those lines. It would have to be good enough to warrant using specific characters rather than a team you would actually like to use.
