Running out of things to spend Iso on

Roster is updated in my sig today.

I don't see any point in leveling up the 4*s I have available all that much. Maybe a few levels though? I can't put anymore into 2*s or 3*s without resorting to leveling dupes, which I guess I could do, for some of the 2*s getting close to maxchamp status. I could also just level all my 4*s in anticipation of their eventual Crashes, although that'll only take a couple days.

I know the popular answer is going to be to hoard, but given that I'm softcapping 4*s, hoard for what? Pretty soon I'm literally going to have nothing in my roster I can level at all besides Ghost Rider and Nick Fury, and various 5*s. Nothing else can go past 188.

My current pace of play gets me enough CP for a Classic maybe every two or three days. What should I be planning to do?

At the very least start preparing to move to fourstar land. Ghost Rider and Nick Fury probably aren't the best choices to start a fourstar roster, but fourstar land is fun and has lots of variety. You need around 300K ISO to level a fourstar from level 180 to 270, so save up until you have some top tier fourstars covered enough to form the backbone of your fourstar team!

I also don't have much to spend ISO on at the moment, but that is because I am stockpiling legendary tokens and CP, all my 13 cover fourstars are championed, and any time I get another cover for an undercovered fourstar I level them upp immediately. I am at about 1,25 million ISO right now... How much ISO do you need to have before getting auto-sandboxed?

Every player goes through a period where they're iso-heavy. Usually it's very early. But another common time is exactly where you're at. Prepping for the transition to 4-star play. The same thing happened to me about a month ago. I champed my second, third, and fourth 4-star... all the sudden my reserve of a million iso had evaporated. So sit tight. Your focus should be obtaining 4-star covers right now. Don't miss the progression cover in PVE and get your hands on as many LTs and CPs as you can get (I'm sure I'm not telling you anything you don't already know).

Softcap all you want, but eventually you'll have to make the plunge and start champing some 4-stars when they have 13 covers. Make sure your first few are the right ones - you know who they are. Iceman, Peggy, Hulkbuster MaxPun, X23, TeenJean... you're on these forums, you know who the elite are. But don't be afraid to champ who you want, either. Your Invisible Woman is close and I really like her, for example.

When you get there, you'll be scrounging for iso.

    What Dormammu said.

I'm pretty much exactly in your boat, although I'm managing it differently. My 3* champs are mostly in the 190-205 range, and I keep all 9+ cover 4* at 185. At the moment, I have 1.5M of ISO, and 21 4* at 185. For the moment, whenever I get the 14th cover, I champ, knowing full and well that this means I have some non-top tiered 4* champs (my champs at the moment are just Fury, Captain Falcon and Hulkbuster). While I know it's not optimal, it makes me feel like I'm progressing to have at least 3 characters that I never have to sell tokens for.

Once I get under 1M ISO, I'll be more selective about who to champ, and that time is coming; the way RNG works is that I'm sure I'll get several fully covered all at once.

Your mileage may vary; if you wait for Jean, Bobby, 4Clops, etc. you may end up with a stronger roster in the long run, but since ISO runs much more freely than it used to, I think it's fine to champ as they come rather than waiting for something optimal.

One other note - I'm mostly a PVE player, and the scaling is acceptable for me. If I were mainly PVP I'm sure I'd have another opinion, since Fury and Falcon die very quickly in PVP.
