Anyone finding that this node is just as bad as when you face Juggernaut, Muscle, Muscle or other such mad teams.
Been able to beat 5 times barely. Tried 6 times to get it out of the way but am finding that I'm getting smoked before I can get anything going on the board.

My only champed 4* is Jean Grey, who is buffed. With Switch also buffed, I am pairing them with Strang3 and it is not too much of a problem.

I think I rushed through this node with Starlord/Jean Grey and used her AoE with reduced cost to erase all of the countdowns. In my older 3* days I would use Falcon, IM40 and Steve Rogers. Get some blue to get Falcon removing a tile here or there and once IM40's recharge gets fired just use Steve's red and blue to overwrite any tile that is bothering you. I guess it depends who's on your roster.

Don't have any champed 4*. A little over half of 3* are champed. Went on a whim and decided using a different 3* combo. All champed: Scarlet Witch, Captain Marvel and Doctor Strange. No problems this time. Will document all of your suggestions as I have been doing when I read of other team combos on this forum for future reference and see what does/doesn't work well for myself.

I mean, it's better than the Tree Groots in New York double-Muscle-plus-Juggernuts node. Any node with multiple Muscles is brutal, though.

I muscled through it with xfw, cmags (buffed), and fist (buffed). Kept creating black with fist's purple until Yelena was down. Muscle's strongest color is yellow, so the first one falls easy to xfw's black and takes all the yellow strikes/countdowns with it, then clean up the last goon with cmags.

IM40, patch, and strange were also effective. Do a recharge, stun Yelena with strange's blue, then let patch do his thing.

Where I've really been cleaning goons up this event is IM40, patch, and ock (buffed). Recharge, patch green and red, ock blue. Everything dead.

I did it with Doc Ock, Iron Fist, and SWitch. I know it sounds terrible, but this team actually made short work of them.

I've been having a lot of fun with Star Lord, Dock Ock, and OML on any node with a goon or two. OTOH Muscles can make things to sideways super quickly - honestly they suck hard. Easily the most unbalanced set up in the game.

Good call. Tried that out on Doc Ock's essential node and it made it go much faster.

While my top boosted characters are at level far below 300 with HP less than 15 I' really "happy" with muscles just spamming strike tiles worth over 1,2k damage each every single turn... It's **** crazy setup.

Other characters that are really good vs Muscle nodes are any of the ones that can steal their tiles
Elektra and Ant Man (4-star)
She Hulk and Loki (3-star)
Moonstone (2-star)

As HaywireII suggested, Falcon could work as well, but you need to get those blue AP fast. I've found it's pretty tough to get yellow for IM40's recharge vs Muscles/Thugs/Hitmen because they also use up yellow tiles for their countdowns. There have been times where I've finally gotten enough yellow AP to cast Recharge, only to have one single yellow tile open for my recharge.

My support game, 2/3* transition has 5* Thanos. Drop purple, no creation.

JG is uselessdoing 10k AoE when facing 50k+ muscles that put out 6k worth of strike tiles with yellow.

3* Cycs, SWitch and Iron Fist cleaned that node down to 1 with no effort.
