How about a character like Scarlet Witch that can move tiles diagonally to make matches?

Interesting, but if it's a constant passive it could prove to be very unbalancing -- and what would be the effects of leveling it up, expand the range of colors allowed? I think a controlled tile-swap ability at relatively low AP cost would be better -- like Illusions, but not random and much less broad.

The Scarlett Witch is all about luck. How about this?

Hex (Purple Passive)
Whenever a critical tile is generated from Scarlett Witch performing match damage, there is a chance an additional critical tile will appear on the board at a random location.
1- 25% chance
2- 30% chance
3- 40% chance
4- 45% chance
5- 50% chance

I like the first idea, but although it would need to cost 8 AP or more so that it won't be self sustaining, since creating match 5's would be possible.

That's only self-sustaining for as long as you can make match-5 in the right color. It's not as bad as Magneto generating five blue for five AP or whatever that gets to.

I know that, but in case they were the same color, being able to use it again with an added crit tile wouldn't be fair (like magnetos blue).
