Edit* Updated Roster

I'm willing to buy 2-3 more covers. I'm not sure who to focus on next. I can get some covers and work on LazyThor, I can focus on LazyCap or Hood. Any help on who'd be good to focus on to go with Patches and Punisher would be helpful.

Based on your covers and their usefulness I think you almost have to go Patches and Hood together, making it a question of who's the 3rd wheel.

    - OBW's the best color match, though Hood and OBW together is arguably a bit overkill and on the squishier side of things. Still they'll all work great together.
    - Thor's a good option, especially using his Yellow to feed Green to Patch (or selectively Call the Storm if the match merits it). Though that leaves you with no activated abilities in Blue or Purple. He's also tanky enough to absorb some hits.
    - IM40 is okay. Not the best, not the worst. Also uses Yellow to feed Patches.

Personally I'd probably do OBW, but then I love her double-taps.

Patch and Punisher actually aren't that bad together. While they're competing for Green and Red, their abilities are different enough that you find there are times when you'd prefer to use one over the other. Also the prioritization of colors means that Patch will own Green and Red so long as he's within 10 or so levels of Punisher. Letting him tank for Punisher and self-heal.

Patch is really dangerous in your roster since you don't have any way to mitigate the 6 strike tiles that he creates. Patch/Hood/OBW is the strongest composition that you can field right now, but I don't know how you're going to survive your own strike tiles. If you do this team comp, you need to make sure that OBW tanks black/blue over Hood, which means leaving Hood at a low level, which is pretty awkward since his hp is pretty terrible at lower levels. Your possible team comps just seem very awkward overall: I want to say that you should build Hood, but OBW espionage is probably the strongest thing you can do right now so leveling Hood seems like a bad idea. Patch + IM40 is an okay team composition, but you don't have enough patch red to make the stun synergy work that well, and again, no patch mitigation character like C. Mags or Spidey. I guess I would just roll with whatever characters are buffed in the current/future events (Patch ahem ahem) and go from there until you get more covers: you can't really make a decision now due to all the options just being really awkward.
  • Thanks for the advice guys, I think you're right that I'm just stuck going with whoever is buffed right now. In the current events I've been able to just save abilities until I can wipe out all of the enemies in 1 turn or so. I'll just have to keep collecting 3* and enjoy patches for the beast he is when buffed.

If you don't mind starting a new character, I'd suggest you grab yourself a Classic Magneto from the next Lightning Rounds. Even if you can't reach Top2 for red covers, if you just get 5 purple and 5 blue he'll get to around level 100 and will be a huge addition to your team for you. With the 5 blue you can remove countdown tiles, making all goon battles trivial and you can remove enemy strike tiles that your Patch generates. I'd still recommend respecing Patch if you can to 3/5/5. That way he makes 3 strike tiles, and Magneto can remove two. With Magneto + Patch you can then win every fight. The third slot is often determined by the event anyway. If you can chose all 3, slot in Hood for the extra AP and an active black and yellow.
  • It completely never occurred to me that the biggest reason for 3/5/5 is that you can actually manage 3 strike tiles infinitely easier than 6. I'll definitely look into trying to grab some Magnetos from LR as well as trying to get 3 more red patches. I imagine I could go 5/3/5 if I had a spidey to stun lock as well. Thanks for the advice!
  • I've updated my roster. I'm thinking of going Patches/LazyCap/Hood. What do other people think of this setup? Has anyone tried it out at higher levels? Thanks again for the help.

Doesn't seem like theres a ton of synergy going on with that team. Hood/Cap are obviously fine, but Patch seems very out of place: you don't have quick spammable abilities or ways to mitigate his strike tiles. I guess Cap can take some of them out with his blue/red, but that seems really slow/not the greatest. It doesn't seem like you have any alternatives with your current roster so that's probably the only way to go.
  • Yeah, the matches have been pretty slow. I basically just match tiles until I can wipe/stun everyone in one turn. I'll just keep grabbing whatever prizes they give out. With the new LR nerfs, I don't think there's all that much chance of getting C.Mags or Spidey in the near future.
  • I have more covers now (and might be willing to buy 2-3 more), so these are now the viable 3* chars.
    Hood
    Patch
    Punisher
    Lazy Cap
    IM40
    Hulk
    BP
    Doom

I still don't have a viable purple since Spidey/ C.Mags covers barely exists anymore. If I go Punisher / Cap / Hood I can keep Hood fully covered and he does have some synergies with both Cap and Punisher, but I'm not sure what setup I should have for Punisher in that case.
Any suggestions for a build for these guys or a better lineup?
    Thanks!
  • Updated Roster.

I'm not sure who to focus on next, I can try to max out Hood or Lazy Cap, or I can work on Lazy Thor, but he's further behind than the others and I have Patches and Punisher maxed and I don't think they play well together. Any advice on who to focus on next?
