Players want multiple decks.
(it allows more time playing and less time configuring)

The company wants money.
(players with more money than time will buy it, players with more time than money will make do)

Sell deck slots for crystals.
(solution)

Players want more flexible decks.
(the paper game has larger decks allowing more sophisticated play)

The company wants money.
(this gives 'rich' long term players something new to buy, multiple level at different prices is easy too)

Sell larger decks (eg 12 cards, 15 cards, etc) for progressively more crystals.
(solution)

Deck slots I can get behind. Card slots seems a pay to win strategy.

Deck slots is 100% a convenience issue but card slots directly effects the power of one deck over another. I would suggest that instead the decks simply have a set number of total card slots and we get to determine how many copies of a card appear on that deck up to four. That way if I want to run only two copies of one card and two copies of another for a total of 11 unique cards, I can, but there are half as many of those two.

I'm pasting my answer from a different thread:
I'm afraid that for now this is the best you're getting in terms of an official response.
Please let me save multiple decks for each of my planeswalkers!
This is something the team has wanted to add to the game for a long time. We’re currently working on some interesting ideas for this, but the feature is still very early on in development.

As soon as Brigby has some new info, he'll let everyone know.
