Semi New player Roster help please

so heres my roster first of all.

Thor88 5/5/3 at 85
Wolverine88 5/5/3 at 85
Magneto 5/3/5 at 70 can tkae to 85
OBW 2/5/3 at 60 can go to 61
Capt. America 5/1/4 at 55 can take to higher seems pointless
storm 3/2/4 at53
ares 3/3/1 at 25

not quite sure who to use i have been using thor/mags/storm but now storm lvl alot lower then the rest so recently been thor/wolvie/OBW
but my question lies should i still be building my ** star team or start making the switch to *** i can place well enough to win one or two *** covers but they seem to be handed out alot less lately so i dont know what i should be focusing on heres my *** roster

derdevil 2 purple 2 red at 18
BP 1 yellow 2 blue at 15
loki 2 black at 15
hulk 1 green 1 black at 15
patch 1 green 1 yellow at 15

doctor doom 1 black at 15
psylocke 1 red at 15
ragnarok 1 green at 15
the hood 1 yellow at 15
thor 1 green at 15

im willing to drop a few bucks on this game if it helps me get to the 3 star team faster but with those levels i think i should just stay with my ** until i win enough covers and iso to level them all up. thank for any advise u guys have,

Not sure about how much money you're willing to spend on the game. I would try to get OBW to 3/5/5 and max her out to 85: Thor/Wolvie/OBW at level 85 should be all you need to make the 2->3* transition. While I would normally recommend pumping all your HP into roster slots, OBW 3->4 black makes a big enough difference that you might want to consider it if you really want to progress faster: the ability is noticeably better with strike tiles at that level. None of your 3*s have enough covers to reasonably invest in (even by spending real cash), so I would just keep on playing and building up your team.

Thanks for the quick reply bro ill drop ten buck on hp just to get her to the 355 stage then level her up. now i just gota do my part win these
tourny and build up the ***. im the type of person that sees all the iso i want to just spend it. so the most ive ever had saved up was 20,000
now it looks like ima have to save in the 100,000 range lol

Not too sure if that's even necessary: getting a single black cover to make her 2/5/4 is probably good enough: the rest of your hp is probably better spent elsewhere on roster slots and such.

good lookin out just spent only 2 bucks then lol for the 2/5/4 build.

You're obviously not ready yet to make a push for 3* transition, as your rare characters lack covers. A 3* hero will surpass an 85-level 2* hero in terms of raw damage only when it reaches level 100, which is quite far for you now. However, you do have a basis for a very decent 2* roster that will help you place well in tournaments to grab some more covers for those three-stars. Consider joining an Alliance, if you're into a bit of socializing and aren't a member yet - there are some good rewards to earn there, and some more covers to help you out.
