Kill 3 or less enemy creatures objective...

Any ideas on how to beat this objective in the current Oath of the Gatewatch event? It's the only one I'm missing to get 55 points. I tried a bounce/disable deck but it's just not reliable enough. Iverter of Truth's ability is just too crazy.

If I recall correctly, Liliana1 drop deck can work well.

I think that was the one I used sarkhan with oath of Liliana and a bunch of energizers (can't ingest an energized gem) I also used grotesque mutation to recover health once u have a good zombie stack, and a grip of Desolation when things get too hairy and you have to kill a creature.

It's irritating because for some reason them killing their own creatures count as you killing it.

Nahiri with a life gain deck worked well. Gisela, War Oracle, Serene Steward, Lone Rider, Uncaged Fury, Lantern Scout then added a couple bounce cards but never needed them. Had full health after every round until he cast two remorseless punishments in a row.

Im having a harder time with the last one because for some reason it keeps crashing after the AI does like 20 matches in a row and drops 7 creatures on one turn... then crash.

Hixus. So much hixus. I just saved up a couple in my hand (as Gideon 2) and put them both out as once so it was less likely to break. I waited until he had three creatures out that attacked. Then.. release the hounds! Inverter doesn't have any creature removal, so as long as you don't have any gem converters, once his creatures are frozen you can cast any creatures (without berserker) to plink him to death.

People suggested murk strider last time.

    Kiora:
    Thopter Spy Network
    Shrine of the Forsaken Gods
    Nissa's Revelation
    Alhammarret's Archive
    From Beyond
    Gone Missing
    Welcome to the Fold
    Harbinger of Tides
    Just the Wind
    Roil Spout

I killed two creatures - both smashed into too-big stack of Scions when I did not have the bounce at hand
And I managed to steal his Drana
In the retrospect, I could have swapped Archive for pretty much anything else, e.g the Drownyard Temple or even more bounce...

i used gideon it is a life gain deck gisela steward and lone rider just didnt use gideons abilities exept the +4 one, was tight but, had to kill off one that was sacrificing creature but once he had a full stack it was just a matter of grinding him down. hixus of course would work supression bond helps for one at least and one he had all his cards charged ai wont discard to it locks up then it is over

I used a heavy control Jace 2. Only creature was Forgotten Creation which can't be blocked (not sure if the AI deck even has blockers). Sphinx's Tutelage kept stuff from being cast and never once got broken even at 2 shields thanks to the AI's ability to ingest all blue. Insidious Will to catch anything that managed to be cast. And lots of bounce spells to put things back in hand that got past both Sphinx and Insidious Will. Then I just waited till I could use Jace's third ability and kept pumping my Forgotten Creation each turn and casting a new Forgotten Creation every time I drew one. Refills your hand, makes AI's card cost 12 more mana, and buffs your Forgotten creation by 24/24.

The easiest way to beat inverter is to use a mono black deck.. I oddly manage both the 3 or less and the 6 or more creatures with creatureless Ob.

However, I think using L1 with flying vampires would be a really easy method

I used Dovin Baan with a Rattlechains spirit deck and Hixus, Prison Warden.

if you are limited on cards/planeswalker then it can be
done with jace1 murk strider, sphinx tutalege and that
spell that drains all mana from opponents creature card.
additional bounce cards such as roil spout and anchor
to the aether help with consistency. claustrophobia is
useful to have. it's a deck for a specific purpose so
having it slightly unbalanced should not be a problem.
murk strider is almost guaranteed a bounce, so save it
for when you really need it. that draw 2 cards for when
you have support is useful too.

I'll echo what these folks said.
Run a mono color so it doesn't get both your colors.
Make matches off secondary colors, charged up creatures and a pair of Hixus in hand, then dropped them all on one turn when there was no
    manawhite.png on board*.
Discard all removal to avoid missing draws.
Guard the Hixus. Focused on replaying more Hixus as they are drawn, and
manapw.png for relevant planeswalker activations (Which was Call to Arms in my case).

Ended at full life thanks to lifelink creatures.

    * Fun Fact: If there is no manawhite.png on board, Hixus will convert one to manawhite.png.

I went a different route and cleared it with last hope Liliana.

Thought process is he converts all Void gems to black then voids all gems of your color, but if your color IS black then his ability does nothing. Picked Liliana since she still has strong mana gains from blue and so wouldn't be terribly handicapped. This slowed him down a LOT to where I was able to kill him off without him summoning many creatures. You just have to kill Ayli is she is someone's as she will kill creatures for you, and maybe Drana if things get scary.

My experience here was different. I thought of this too, but They all just stayed as Void gems. I played round it, and made them discard all the cards.

I probably got lucky with a good supply of blue gems to work with. Also replaced cards like Choked Estuary with Skyline Cascade that both disabled creatures and produced specifically blue gems.
