Dedication?

Is it actually possible to have 1400+ ribbons already in a QB that (I think) just started last night? I mean, I played more than I normally to today (on the sly at work haha) and won most of my matches, netting me ~150 ribbons. The 2 highest scorers have 1400+ and 1300+ respectively, and the #3 spot has 300. So I guess why I'm trying to ask is that, in order to place 1st, you have to dedicate all your time to this, to the exclusion of everything else? Not judging, if you've got the time and like the game that much, more power to you, I just wanted to make sure I understood the situation.

I didn't want to assume haha... i'm sure there are metrics already for ribbons per hour and/or average match time, but just ballparking it at a 5 minute avg match time it's something like 19 hours to accumulate that many ribbons at 6/win. Crazy madness

This is an answer by a very experienced QB player.

Thanks. Like I said, I didn't want to just assume there were shenanigans going down, as for all I know, that amount of ribbons in that amount of time could be possible by someone waaaaay more dedicated to being #1 than I am. I've made it into the top 10 once, so it's enough for me to know the amount of effort required for it.
