Ares Sunder bug?

I've noticed over the past few matches that when the countdown tlle after using Ares' sunder expires, it does damage the current opponent but does not heal Ares. On at least several occasions the countdown damaging the opponent did not end the fight. I've seen this behaviour on R117. My Ares is 2, 3, 5.

    Sometimes the animations play in a weird order and the heal has happened before you go to watch for the health-bar flash.

    I had the feeling it might be just a visual effect missing. I tried to look out for it but kept missing it.

    In today's matches with Ares I kept a close eye on Ares but every time the visual was triggered. So if I'm right in that on occasions the heal does not trigger, it isn't consistent.
