Insidious Will Bug

This is a majorly annoying bug...

Charge up a spell in first position while the enemy has an Insidious Will Support on the board. When its time for the card to be cast, its destroyed. Not after its been cast, but before. It just has to be sitting in the first position. I did this with Scour from Existence, but I assume any spell would do it. Scour is never cast without selecting a target and you have the option to not use it every time. In this case, you have no option and the card is just destroyed.

you have to disable the spell in to prevent it from getting destroyed by insiduous will once the spell's mana cost is met.

you have to disable the spell once its mana cost is met to prevent it from getting destroyed automatically by insidiuous will.

If he meant that the spell is destroyed even if it can't be cast, I understand the problem. Spells like Scour can't be cast if there are no targets on the board.

I understanding disabling, but if its a card that you can choose to cast every round (ie Scour instead of Animist Awakening) I should still be given the option to cast or not cast. The wording is "Cast a Card"... if you dont select a target and cast it, then it shouldnt be destoryed. A card just sitting in your stack isnt cast until... its actually cast.

It also isn't being counted as being cast either

Well if we're going to get technical about it... Unless you disable a spell or its illegal to cast it, it should cast when it's turn comes up.

Letting you choose a target or not to cast the spell is the game letting you get away with a "oh I screwed up" moment.

Of course, this is pretty unfair for spells that fill up right after they are drawn because the disable window is so short...but that's not the case here.
