Thanos passive - not stacking

So, when Thanos black passive kills an enemy, apparently it wont activate this passive again. Weird, isnt it.
Is it intended? Or is it a bug? What would you prefer?

    It's probably part of the "passives don't trigger passives" thing that keeps infinite passive loops from happening.

    Seems that this skill doesnt even launch 5* Jean Grey passive... too bad.

    My alliance was discussing this - apparently Jean Grey's passive has not been firing reliably lately - for example it does not always fire when she's stunned. I'd say you should file a ticket if you experience this issue - the more info we get to D3 the better.

    how about a different poll, asking if it should fire only if HE makes the kill shot. it would make this character much more sensible.

    but demi is gonna demi, so the current design is likely intentional
