So we sit down with our kids to crack a box of the new set. The joy of new cards is a great feeling to share with the kiddos. We crack an entire box and get not 1 new card. If it were an older set I get that but it was a box of the new set. Kids were sad and I am out $25. I have put a few hundred dollars into this game but this may have been the last straw. I wish you luck developers but i can no longer fund this game. Hope you fix this soon for the life of the game.

    That's actually.. quite a sad story. Kids gathering round at Christmas time, open a big box, nothing but dupes. I mean, adults can sort of tough that thing out, but... ouch.

    This Kaladesh release in general is underwhelming. SOI was cool, lots of neat cards to work into any deck. This set just seems like... Energize, Fabricate, and Vehicles. All are way too specific and perhaps only useful if you actually focus on building around the mechanic.

    u really have to build around the mechanics to make it shine, especially Energise and Overload. Fabricates can work well on its own, and with your non-kaladesh cards. but not Energise and Overloads.

    my event earned crystals are saved up for planeswalker purchases or color specific big boxes if they ever return to the vault. I am not keen on buying realm specific boxes anymore because the chamces of getting the 1 or 2 cards from BFZ or SoI that i want is lower for me than targetting color sets.

    I make it a game to see my crystal count increase weekly. I am hoping to break 4000 before 2016 is over. icon_e_smile.gif

    I have stopped opening my Kaladesh packs -- not because I'm saving for the second release or anything like that -- but because I find it so depressing that I don't want to play anymore.

    Now it's even affecting the children. ::sigh::
