Vehicles, crew, and pilots

These are some neat mechanics, and I like them. Crew is the mechanic that Emerge should have been, as it's actually relevant in a game. I don't know if I've even seen Emerge trigger once. And pilots I especially like, pumping up cards in your hand is a cool mechanic which couldn't actually be done in paper MTG, and I notice there's a little purpley graphic sometimes when it happens (e.g. on Veteran Motorist).

So how come we didn't get any of these cards playable in Platinum Tier, eh? Smugler's Copter is alright... I guess... and everything else is just a bit LowP. Yes, even Skysovereign. Especially Skysovereign.

How about pushing the power level up a bit when the next expansion rolls in, huh?

P.S. Veteran Motorist doesn't appear to be working properly, but since it's a bit rubbish, I doubt anyone will notice.

Agreed. While I would love to try building a vehicle deck, they are all basically just 4/4 or 6/6 creatures with no on-entry mechanic.
  • I think there is a lot of potential here. Just needs to be tweaked a little bit maybe. Be nice to have a vehicle PW to boost the ones in hand.

I just started messing around with an alt account on a second device and have ended up with more KLD cards than anything else. What's really interesting to me about Crew and Fabricate is how much they changed the new player experience.

It sucks that they didn't make these cards viable at gold or platinum (or honestly even in silver), because I like the mechanic too, but someone who started playing this month can use them to get more stats on the board faster than before.

Cultivator's Caravan has been the most useful, of the ones I have. I have it in all of my alt account decks. Works especially well with Koth and Chandra, for obvious reasons. But if I had sword of the animists/Rambler/Abbot I would like to try it in that setup too.

Visionary augmenter seems ok for an uncommon tbh. 6 power for 6 mana and 2 might have haste.

Also about uncommons: minister of inquiries+ 2 mana module+ maxed saheeri rai first ability= hilarity.
