Cannot post images in forum

I'm trying to post an image. I'm using the "img" tags and I have links to my images in both dropbox and mediafire. But every time I try to post, it says:

"It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image."

I resized the images to 481 x 270 pixels and it still doesn't work.

Have you made sure that the url is working properly? I've actually encountered this issue before as well, and it turns out my url was incorrect
