Dragon's Hoard?

Is it just me, or is the Dragon's Hoard pretty much a ripoff?

Dragon's Hoard gives you, for $70:

Two Big Boxes (600 crystals each)
Two Fat Packs (200 crystals each)
100 crystals
35000 Runes (pretty much worthless for anyone that's been playing for a while)

Meanwhile, if we were to buy $70 worth of crystals, we would get 1300+500 = 1800 crystals

This would allow us to get three big boxes, or two big boxes (1200), two fat packs (400), and have 200 crystals left over. 200 crystals > 100 crystals + 35000 runes.

So why would anyone buy a Dragon's Hoard?

Thanks for the breakdown. I was wondering if it was worth it.

You answered your own question. It's obviously targeting the segment of the population that hasn't been playing enough to be swamped with runes like you. They do exist.

The traditional paying player does so to avoid the grind. This is exactly the target audience.

Thanks mate, I couldn't tell what exactly was in the pack. It does often seem to be worth it buying these bundles.
