Unable to replace hexproof creatures

In a recent match, I cast Sphinx of the Final Word and found myself unable to cast creatures to replace those I no longer wanted on the field.

I tested this out after the match in a deck with Drownyard Behemoth as my only creature with hexproof and found that when a fourth creature was fully charged, I was given the option of replacing the other two creatures, but Drownyard Behemoth was not allowed to be replaced.

This is an (terrible) intended change, not a bug.

I read you can't target your hexproof creatures anymore, but at least let me replace them. That seems an oversight in the change.

Players are unable to target Hexproof creatures by design, however being unable to replace them is a bug. The team is aware of this, and they're looking into a fix for it.
  • That's not correct. The description clearly states in cannot be the target of enemy spells and effects. Why would you change that you cannot target your own hex proof? That makes hexproof much worse and also contrary to how it works in paper mtg AND your own description.
