Posting roster in signature

How do you post your roster in your signature? Been trying not sure I doing it right.

    when you are in the edit signature section, look just left of the text size box. it is a thumbnail of a chain. click on that and you will get a (url)(/url). put your link between the url thingies, and replace the ( ) with [ ].
