Double mana not working properly

For the current holiday event, it states that gem matches are doubled. This is not the case. I selected Arlinn as my planeswalker, and when I match red or green rather than getting 12 mana, I'm instead getting 9. I've noticed this on landfall from my off colors that rather than awarding 8 mana, I get 7.

It's apparent that all matches give +3 mana rather than an actual doubling as there should be no possible way to get an odd number of mana from any match if all mana is doubled.

from your example it looks like the mana bonus is doubled.
eg arlinn kord has +3 for red match so it doubles that to +6.
then it adds the 3 mana from the actual gem match making
    +9.

I wondow what it gives for -1 gem matches?

Except it's not. I'm getting 6 when I match white which is correct but 9 when I match green. If it's double I should get 12 since a green match normally gives me 6. Additionally when I landfall blue/white/black I normally get 4 mana so I should get 8, bit instead I'm getting 7.

Every match is just giving a flat +3 rather than a true doubling. If that's what it's supposed to be, fine. But that's not how they explained the event would work.

Just got matched against Koth and his blue match gave him 5 mana, so again it's a solid +3 mana rather than doubling it for him to 4 mana.

Match 3 gems: get 6 mana + PW bonus
Match 4 gems: get 8 mana + PW bonus
Match 5 gems: get 10 mana + PW bonus

    Formula is (2*gems matched)+PW bonus, not 2*(gems matched+PW bonus)

It's working as described (2x mana on gem matches); it just wasn't described well.
