Ridiculous regeneration time

Horrible after the update. Game play is fine but the new structuring for events is terrible making it almost impossible to complete for top rewards. 8 hours regeneration time is ridiculous i didn't like the 3 and a half hours. Please fix it. I spend too much money on this game to sit and wait 8 hours to play for ten minutes.

    I have to agree here.

It's better to lower the number of starting nodes instead of increasing regeneration time.

I was fine with the fact that before I couldn't win the rankings because I slept, ate and didn't exploit any bugs.
I had a decent chain of prizes to win from the event and usually got something from the rankings.

Right now I lost a match and didn't optimize for secondary objectives.
I'm 61/65 for winning a pack of cards.
Event is over in 2 hours.
All three nodes will refresh 1 play in 4 hours.

So the match is over for me.

Rather than just **** and moan, here are some suggestions:
    • Faster Node Respawn Rates
    • Multiple events at once. Apparently we have time to play 3 at once if we're waiting so long to refresh.
    • Playing matches in other events/quick/story refreshes wait times faster
    • Time Objectives. If I win a match in 6 rounds at full health, maybe I only wait 2 hours instead of 4 hours.
    • If it's over for me, close it out. Don't mock me with a screen like I can play, showing 2 hours left, all nodes are at 4 hours. Just say it's over and we're waiting for everyone else to finish.

Adding the need for a shorter node timer and more room for bad rng in the rewards.

Since the changes, I have finished rewards for 1 event. I used to complete every single individual reward, and it's because of the lack of chances available with the time given.

In general, I'm a fan of the new events having fewer games needed to rank after progression rewards are filled (and fewer matches overall). I prefer that the reason you win if playing well rather than playing often and at ridiculous times. That said, I think that the current events might be slightly over tweaked for this and the delays are a bit too long, especially for Holiday showdown with its one node.

My one big ask would be that regardless of how frequently you refresh nodes, can you make the last node refresh 12 hours. That will allow everyone, in every time zone a reasonable chance to finish an event and you won't lose just because you don't want to wake up at 5 am to play a game.

    Thanks.
  • I whole heartedly agree here.
Waiting 8 hours to get 1 match is rediculously tedious.
This event wasnt even worth it to me. Getting rewards is ofcourse always fun, but this constant drawn out gameplay is soooo immensly boring, it kills the game.

I'm on board here. 8 hours is just ridiculous. Make it 5 or 6 maximum please. It really bugs me that progression depends more on whether you catch losses due to outrageous a.i. cascades than your skill at playing the game. This is especially evident with Terrors. X2 damage means losses literally can come at anytime regardless of the board or how many HP the opponent has. With only barely enough matches to get progression even if you win every match, the current system simply doesnt work.

Personally I'm loving the 8 hours regen. I can wake up, go to work and not worry about capping out. I can then play the game at my own pace on lunch break or afternoon/evening and its all good.

Much better and doesn't feel relentless and like having a 2nd job anymore.

How would this work for people:

    Node regeneration 4-5 hours
Nodes start at 2 and go up to 5 (this gives you at least 12 hours to start playing)
Final node timer is 12 hours (this gives you 12 hours to play all your nodes before the end of the match)

The two 12 hours windows are so that everyone can participate during regular waking hours and/or play around work schedules. To do this events will need to be longer and probably overlap with each other. Obviously, these numbers won't work for a single node challenge.

    Thoughts?
