Avacyn as a coalition event

Hello,

In another thread about the Avacyn event where I suggested to lower the points to claim rewards for lower than platinum tier, the user "Corn Noodles" pointed out that the event is meant to be a coalition event where you achieve a goal together.
(Edit: the user "Ithilglin" mentioned technically my posted idea in another thread under the coalition tooic)

I think, that if that was the intention of the developers they kind of failed. Coalitions can deny others the rewards if ending the event fast, but that's it. Everybody still works on it's own getting the rewards and earning points for the coalition...

My idea is that the rewards are given out for the coalition as a whole and not for every player. I don't know the exact number but the last so I take that as an example.
So, instead of one player reaching the 450 point mark and claiming the reward, everybody in that coalition get the reward when the coalition point reach a certain point. E. G. 2700 points (That would be 6 players getting 450 points. That number could also be lower, the developers should check their statistics for that).

The upside I see in that concept is that everybody helps to get these rewards for the coalition and the strong ones, that probably don't need these rewards not that much anymore, help the new players who are in dire need for new cards, runes and crystals.

I hope I could present my idea well, since I'm not a native English speaker.

Please feel free to comment, regardless if it is positive or negative. icon_e_smile.gif

I like the idea of the cumulative point objectives. It won't completely fix the issue of the event finishing so quickly, but it will help people who are unable to even attempt ring 5, let alone avacyn herself a chance at a better reward.

I would add a caveat that players who don't participate don't get rewards and that rewards be scaled based on node exhaustion (more attempts made = a marginal increase in rewards). Going by ribbons will favour players able to run ring 5, which isn't the objective so much as making sure that players that are at least making attempts have a better crack at better cards.
