Story, Origins, Chapter 3, Part 2, #10 (Meteorite).
Win in 7 rounds.
First, not a totally new player. All my Plainswalkers are max lvl, and my win ratio is a tick over 80%.
Second, I have been spending the yellow crystals chasing after cards, 1200 so far.
Third, this is the last achievement needed to have 100% completion for the story line.
Using Koth of the hammer.
The scenario seems unwinnable, have tried what feels like about 200 times. Has anyone else attempted it? Did you complete the mission? Who did you use? What cards? In how many rounds?
If you haven't tried it, please do.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I remember doing all the win within X rounds objectives with Kiora + desolation twin.

I think a koth haste fatty deck could do it too. Haven't tried it.

I only managed to do the speed objectives with Saheeli + Olivia + her thopters + some luck. I can totally see how you could probably do it with Deploy the Gatewatch + Desolation Twin especially, or other really big hitting creatures. If you use a red/white planeswalker, I would definitely add in Uncaged Fury for the doublestrike.

I would try arlinn kord gaeas revenge+uncaged fury.
you just need some luck to get gaeas revenge out
    quickly.

Haste, double strike, and get a lucky cascade

There are a few options that I think could work. Months ago I beat it with Chandra and a Zada, Hedron Grinder deck. You do have to get somewhat lucky but only took me about 10 tries... some cheap creatures and lots of cheap pump spells to give all your team +6+6 each time you cast on him. Also, helps to throw in traitorous instinct to get a 4th creature to pump

You could also try a Kiora/Nissa pump deck... Use Ulvenwald Hydra as your only creature and just do insane amounts of pump, Seasons past, Nissa Revelation, Prism for card draw, tons of green ramp spells. Try to get a huge hydra out quickly.

Another, and probably the easiest is just a Nahiri or Sorin Deploy the Gatewatch deck. Throw out big fatties like Olivia, Emrakul, Piggy, etc.

A good card for any creature red deck for these objectives is Uncaged Fury to give double strike, but works best on Nahiri where if you can get her ult online in time, gg.

I got it in three tries with Koth, primarily it was Geier Reach Bandit, Decimator of the Provinces and uncaged fury. Two of three of those cards are probably not in your collection. If you could post what you have in Red/Colorless then people here could see if they could finish with your collection limitations. Without the powerful mythics you're probably just going to need to get three creatures out fast and pop Koth's ultimate and hope for several red matches. For speed don't concern yourself with defense and go all offense. Resolute Blademaster and Reckless Bushwhacker are both uncommons and would run well together.

Beat the speed objectives before using a non-mythic deck back when only Origins was available.

Updating the same concept for Koth and with newer cards, try:
    Iroas's Champion
    Embermaw Hellion
    Volcanic Rambler
    Reckless Bushwhacker
(Useful Mythic/Rare Red creature that you possess)
    Corrupted Grafstone
    Uncaged Fury
Infectious Bloodlust / Haunted Cloak / Sure Strike
    Exquisite Firecraft / Avacyn's Judgement
    Inner Struggle

Probably need more tries to get lucky with the cascades but at least you can attempt it without the whole slew of mythic cards that people are proposing.

Main idea is to have Iroas's Champion and Embermaw Hellion on the board, together dealing 22 damage a turn. Ideally top off with a Reckless Bushwhacker for Haste and +1/+0 to all.

Volcanic Rambler is good for enabling cascades. Corrupted Grafstone is still good despite the short match because of the swing in mana it provides to Koth.

Exquisite Firecraft, Avacyn's Judgment and Inner Struggle to clear the way for your berserkers to keep attacking the opponent.

Uncaged Fury, Infectious Bloodlust, Haunted Cloak and Sure Strike for boosting damage through Double Strike, Haste and bonus damage.

You'll have to be patient and try a few times though cause it probably isn't as consistently fast as some of the multi-mythic decks.

Haven't done that one yet, but my fastest wins are with Nahiri's 3rd ability + Uncaged Fury + transformed Ulrich.

Just saw and tried.....got it in 6 turns
    NAHIRI
Got it first try but also because of nice loyality stone arrangement
The key is to Spam 1st Ability as often as possible.

It's the fastest I came up with (+Olivia which is a leftover from Avacyns Event)

Deck can be way more optimised, since you don't need removals, or Support denial for this objectiv
