Team Up Tile strength??

For my Daily Deadpool team I use Iron Fist LVL 168/Patch LVL 177/ Loki LVL 183, In that exact order when I lineup the team. I like Patch to tank everything as he has the heals. At these levels both Patch and Loki do 42 damage on team up tiles. From what I was told that in a tie the center persons tiles would be the ones doing the matching, followed by the left person, then the right person. I have Patch in the center and Loki on the right, yet when I match team ups Loki is the one that makes the match. What am I missing?
