X-23 Wave Bug

I was playing the 2 wave Iron Man required stage in day 1 of Heart of Darkness. I needed one match to finish off the first wave(Teisatsu still standing) and the second match of my chain matched X-23's Tracking Prey trap. For some reason the trap did not trigger at all(no animation or effect). The damage part of the trap had no target at the time, but there were a couple free black tiles in which the strike tile could be placed. I would expect that the strike tile should appear at that point.
