Intermittent Lag/Low Framerate

Hello
I've been playing the game for a while and enjoying it. I ended up upgrading to a much more beefier phone so I could enjoy higher framerate/less lag issues. Ever since installing on it, it either runs decent, or runs extremely slow and looks awful.

Phone is an Asus Zenfone 2, 2.4 GHz processor, 4 gb of ram
