Which 4* to keep?

So I currently have 1585 Hero Points. I'm getting Silver Surfer (my first 5*!) 7 days from daily supply. Also, in 21 days, I'm going to get Deadpool (X-Force) from daily supply.

But in my queue, I have

Venom (Eddie) expiring in 10 days
5 , 1 , 1 2* Hawkeye expiring in 3 days
2 2* HT expiring in 2 days (no tips needed here, just super annoying these are both green and not ANY other color)
1 , 1 , 1 2* Thor expiring in 6 days
2 , 1 2* Bullseye expiring in 7 days

So my first thought is in 6 days, sell my max Thor and Bullseye and start building them again. I will then have 1835 HP and I will spend 1000 for Venom and try to get 165 HP by the time my Silver Surfer is about to expire. Also, I was hoping to start building my Hawkeye back up with the covers in the queue.

But is this a bad idea (any of it)? Should I sell max Thor and Bullseye and not start building them up again just yet? Should I not start building Hawkeye up instead? Should I just sell my Wasp or Venom (or someone worse I don't know) and keep pushing my 2* farm as hard as I can?

What does everyone think I should do?

Venom is a bottom tier 4*. Literally one of the 5 worst. Both Silver Surfer and xfdp are far and away better. I would sell the Venom cover, roster silver surfer and then scrounge up the HP to roster xfdp when he drops from your resupply.

Your 2* question is largely orthogonal since ISO isn't really a concern with any of the questions you have. Definitely cycle your 2* and fill up the slots with the 2* with the highest number of covers, which appears to be Hawkeye and Thor.

Cycling your 2s is a good idea anyway since it'll net you loads of HP and tokens.

I probably wouldn't do it for the express purpose of rostering Venom, though. He really only has one decent ability, his yellow, which ultimately just amounts to a bland direct-damage ability. The positive on his passive is mostly useless and the negative can actively cause significant harm depending on your opponents. Green does mediocre damage and only has decent board shake versus tile spammers. He's...really bad.

Deadpool, on the other hand, is a solid middle-of-the-road 4* and is absolutely worth building up.

I would roster venom as a placeholder at least. Sell the 2 stars and if you get enough HP buy SS a slot or sell venom if you don't.

Cause you might again have enough HP in 21 days for that third roster slot for deadpool.

No sense wasting a 4 star cover and then you end up pulling 4 of him or whatever reason.

Roster all and any 4* or 5* you have. Yes venom sucks but to come across another one for his clash (yes you need more than one cover to beat it obviously) or for an essential in pve is much lower than a 2*. Sell your max champed two stars and then leave the ones in your queue and sell them on the day they expire. Use those extra hero slots for rare covers such as 4* or 5* ones. I hate it when I sell something and then it keeps coming back in future draws. I just get so annoyed with it.

You come across so many 2* covers that you will not miss them if they have to be sold. Oh make sure you check the required two star for the next pve event and don't sell the one or ensure you have one cover somewhere.

Oh and another piece of advice, join a stronger alliance. Top 500 alliances have very little requirements and they net you 25-50 hp per pvp event and tons of elite tokens at end of sub and end of main pve events. So that will get you back your 2* much faster. Oh don't open tokens if you are running out of spots for new characters.

I agree with above, Venom sucks and even if you were to roster him, that 1 black cover does more harm than good (read the description, you'll agree).

As far as selling 2*'s, absolutely! Start your farm! I recommend selling 2* Bullseye first. The 2* Dark Avengers (BE, Daken, Ares, Moonstone) are rarely essential in PVE unlike the rest of the 2* roster (e.g. Thor).

You could always just buy the hp needed. It's not a huge investment, just skip that Starbucks run one day and you will have it.
