Story Mode

I know story mode is oriented more for new players, but eventually even the experienced ones will play it between events or to try and complete the challenges.
I feel, however, that the story mode seems a bit dull. It is just a list with opponents, no real "story" element behind it.
What could make it a little more "story driven" is a "map" type of interface, where at least we get the sense of moving forward to the next opponent and on with the story. Heck, even throw in the option of going through different pathways in the same story, facing different opponents on each one, with varying difficulty.
A lot of match 3 puzzle games are using this approach and it is one of the things I enjoy the most about them.
Just a thought.
Thanks for the fun, this is the first iPhone game I have played for more than 4 months straight already without getting bored of it.

SOI needs a story mode as well. I'm not a fan of the grind of QB so now I have nearly completed the story modes I find I don't play much between events, I do a little bit of deck tuning and that's it. This game has become feast and famine for me if there was a story mode for each card set I wouldn't feel as bored between events.0

You'll eventually finish the stories too, probably within a week.
The real solution is back to back, or even overlapping events, so there's something to do everytime one has spare time for a game.
I'm currently in a cafe with an hour to kill and I can't even play qb because it's a 3 day qb, and playing on day 1 is such a bad idea.0
