Miles Morales or Ghost Rider?

I've got a cover for each of them saved up. I've sold 4 Ghost Riders already and I held onto my 3* Spider Man covers for 2 weeks hoping to pull a colour I needed because my 182 Spider Man was gonna drop a purple...which is already maxed.

So I've had a month of getting no-where, managing to pull 5 ghost riders covers, 3 blacks and 2 reds. I ended up using my 3* Spidey covers so I have that purple waiting too.

They run out in 6 days and I've decided to save up my CP to just buy the damn cover I need. I have 103 and will only manage to do one. Question is, which one? Ghost Rider's not bad when boosted...but Miles Morales I hear is also really good boosted. Plus I like his AP gen and I'd honestly like an opportunity to use him properly. 5/4/3 isn't a great spec for PvE.

Either way, one will champ, one will sell. What do you guys think?

Here is the biggest thing to realize GR black at 5 covers does the same damage at level 270 as it at level 70. GR very CD dependent and you really need a strike tile generator to double sip on his attack tiles.
Miles does more damage at higher levels and is more support with his purple he yellow.

I personally prefer miles but will use both when buffed. GR is nice vs 5* in PVP but since you generally don't see villians his red is not great. Miles. An also pair with Rhulk in PVP since they are buffed the same week generally and that means you can stun other Rhulk.

I like the points made for Ghost Rider. I hadn't considered his black being unchanged deending on level. I was enjoying his red when he was boosted, but I always found his green to be REAALLLLLY meh. Seems his red's good for constant high damage with a single late game black nuke.

That said...I'm very keen on Miles, too. Miles is sounding more like the bet to take. He seems more utilitarian with many uses as well as having a nice attack by himself. I might go for that.

Also try him with 3* spidey. It's not a good team per say but stuns for days!

I voted for Ghost Rider, I still use him as a champ more at 3/5/5. I’ve got Miles fully covered but personally I’ve got his colors used better in other team combos, so he sits on the bench at lvl 168. He's never seemed that great when I use him, but maybe I didn't have the right team. These have been some interesting points on him though in this thread, next time he’s boosted I may give him a whirl. How’s he work with Starlord? It seems like he’d feed his purple & red too? That could be a combo in his favor.

I still like GR though as a specialized weapon against bosses. I’ve heard the argument before on 5 black covers doing the same at any level, but you still need to survive until that 12 black ap is ready. My champ of GR is 16K+ in health, not bad overall, it boosts well). He’s been my clutch player in Round 8 fights against Galactus, Iron Man and Cap, where simple match damage is deadly from those guys. Pair him with a tank for his black (I use OML, but your Xpool or Kingpin could work too) and Iron Fist to generate the black quickly. It will burn health packs, but it gets the job done most of the time.

UPDATE: One more point, to sum up. As useful as some of these comments for Miles are, with over a dozen 4* champs you have on your roster, you probably have someone already who can do what Miles does. There's nobody who can do what Ghost Rider does (yet). Just a thought.

I've got both of them champed, and I hardly use Miles -- but I use GR even less. I'll use Miles if I need a red outlet (if I'm building a team around X-23, say) and/or a quick stun (pairing him with Iceman).

This is all to say that neither of them are world beaters, so your decision is a tossup.
